"Dr. Bruck's experience and leadership will unquestionably drive the medical team at MidHudson Regional Hospital to greater heights, and in turn increase the quality of care available in the Hudson Valley," said Paul Hochenberg, Executive Director.  "His unique combination of skills and connections in the state of New York and throughout the Northeast will be a tremendous asset as he identifies new healthcare needs in our community and works quickly to implement solutions at the highest level."

Dr. Bruck comes to MidHudson Regional Hospital from the Yale Medical Group and Yale University School of Medicine where he served as an attending physician in the division of gynecologic oncology.  He previously held the positions of executive director of the Stamford Healthcare Alliance and president and CEO of Stamford Health Integrated Practices in Stamford, Connecticut.  Prior to that, Dr. Bruck spent seven years as the chairman of the department of obstetrics and gynecology for the Stamford Health System.  Before arriving in Connecticut, Dr. Bruck was the vice chairman of the department of obstetrics, gynecology and women's health with the North Bronx Healthcare Network.  Earlier in 2015, the prestigious Robert C. "I'm eager to continue to build MidHudson Regional Hospital into a choice hospital, both for area patients to receive care and world-class physicians to practice," Dr. Bruck said.  "With a strong team already in place here, and the support and resources to grow quickly, I look forward to continuing to advancing the level of care available locally in the Hudson Valley."

Dr. Bruck received his Bachelors of Science in biology and philosophy from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania and his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.  Since 2011, he has served on Muhlenberg's board of trustees.
