This conference will educate primary and
specialty providers on the scope of the opioid
addiction problem in adolescents and young
adults both nationally and locally. Through
lecture and case presentations, attendees will
acquire a personal perspective on the impact
of opioid addiction on patients and families, and
Improve their understanding of the range of
medical treatment options for opioid addiction.
In addition, faculty will teach skills regarding
the screening, engagement and psychological
treatment of individuals affected.
