Radiologist Salvatore V. Raccuia, MD, Appointed Director of Breast and Women’s Imaging at MidHudson Regional Hospital
As a breast-trained radiologist, Dr. Raccuia is able to both interpret imaging and execute medical procedures, providing his patients with an uncommon level of service and continuity of care.
In practice for over 20 years and fellowship trained at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Salvatore V. Raccuia, MD, has been appointed Director of Breast and Women's Imaging at MidHudson Regional Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network. As a breast-trained radiologist, Dr. Raccuia is able to both interpret imaging and execute medical procedures, providing his patients with an uncommon level of service and continuity of care.

Board certified in diagnostic radiology, Dr. Raccuia has spent his entire career in the New York-New Jersey area, serving as a radiologist for Williamsburg Medical Imaging and the Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, Shore Imaging in Lakewood, New Jersey, Distinguished Diagnostic Imaging in the Bronx, New York, among others.
Dr. Raccuia earned his baccalaureate from G. Pascoli College in Bologna, Italy and his medical degree from La Sapienza, the University of Rome. From 2013-2015, he served as a clinical assistant professor of radiology at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center.
The Women's Imaging Center at MidHudson Regional Hospital, part of the Redl Center for Cancer Care, provides patients with advanced screening and diagnostic imaging in a comfortable, relaxed, patient-centered environment.
