MidHudson Regional Hospital, a member of the WMCHealth network, is proud to announce the hiring of Damon deChamplain, MPA, CHFM, CHESP, as Associate Executive Director of Operations. With over 30 years of experience in healthcare administration, deChamplain will lead all internal hospital operations.

"With his extensive background in all areas of healthcare facilities management, he is uniquely qualified to lead the rapid growth and continued expansion of our hospital."
deChamplain comes to MidHudson Regional Hospital after spending over three years as Director of Patient Experience for the Western Connecticut Health Network in New Milford, Connecticut. No stranger to the WMCHealth family, deChamplain served as Vice President of Support Services at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York from 2008-2011 following work with Crothall Services Group in Wayne, Pennsylvania, the Norwalk Hospital Corporation in Norwalk, Connecticut, and Aramark Corporation in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

deChamplain holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Eastern Connecticut State University and a Master's in Public Administration from Marist College. He is a Certified Health Facility Manager as designated by the American Society of Healthcare Engineering and successfully completed the Executive Program of the American College of Healthcare Executives. A resident of the Hudson Valley for the past 16 years, deChamplain lives in Wappingers Falls with his wife. The couple has two grown children.
