Dr. Andrade earned his medical degree from Bangalore Medical College, now Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, in Bangalore, India, and completed an internship in general medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and public health at Bangalore Medical College Hospital.
He followed his internship by serving as a medical officer of Kuwait Hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, working in the emergency department, outpatient care and internal medicine.
Moving to the United States, Dr. Andrade completed a second internship, this time at United Hospitals Medical Center in Newark, N.J., practicing internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery and gynecology, followed by a residency at the medical center in internal medicine.
He then completed a two-year fellowship in medical oncology at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark.
Dr. Andrade specializes in managing drug treatments for people with early and advanced cancers that affect the organs, muscles, bones and connective tissue. Treatments he manages include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biological therapy, targeted drug therapy and hormone therapy.
